Used to replace the need for batteries on these headsets. It uses aircraft power for the ANR. It must be wired to the panel from the aircraft power source. A small power plug is required (not supplied). The converter may be removed and batteries re-inserted if need be. A small hole must be drilled in the battery case to facilitate the wiring harness.

The PA-93B adapter is used to work with aircraft that have a Bose 6-pin redel socket wired on the panel. This adapter cannot be used to power the ANR of a non-Bose headset. It supplies the microphone and earphone connections only. It works with headsets that get their ANR power from a battery pack such as the Sennheiser HMEC25 & 45 series HMEC 450/460 Series headsets.
